Develop a basic understanding of musical structure.
Month 4: Rhythm & Coordination Development
Strengthen timing, coordination, and fluency.
Month 5: Application & Song Performance
Apply learning to real songs and improve stage confidence.
Month 6: Evaluation & Performance Preparation
Prepare for the final internal assessment.
The Preparatory Keyboard Course is open to all beginners who wish to start learning music from the very basics. No prior knowledge or experience is required.
Age Group: 5 years and above (no upper age limit)
Qualification: No formal education in music required
Musical Background: Beginners, hobby learners, and aspiring musicians are all welcome
Instruments Required: Personal keyboard (recommended 61 keys or more)
Learning Mode:
Offline Classes at GLSMI Campus, Guwahati or Barpeta
Online Classes available via video sessions
Hybrid Mode for flexible learning
Students with previous basic knowledge of the keyboard or music theory can be evaluated for direct entry to Grade 1, based on an internal assessment by GLSMI faculty.
